Chloe Lerin understands all those principles—she’s an engineer, and she’s a smart one, working with data acquisition figures to help superbike teams get faster in the MotoAmerica series. But Lerin isn’t just involved with traditional sportbike-based roadracing efforts; she’s also working with Harley-Davidson’s factory bagger racing team, which is the only official factory racing team on North American street circuits, she says! Those big, heavy cruisers that you see at Road America or Laguna Seca? Her work is what helps those racers build up a logic-defying head of steam, and this week, she’s here to tell host Neil Graham about her job inside one of the coolest, and weirdest, corners of the moto industry.
